Aaron Goldberg is one of the best-known pianists on the world stage in recent years.
Trained at the New School and graduated at Harvard, he established himself on the New York scene thanks also to his participation in various Joshua Redman groups and with Wynton Marsalis’ band.
In his career, Goldberg has many other prestigious collaborations under his belt, with musicians of the caliber of Freddie Hubbard, Betty Carter, Nicholas Payton, Charles Lloyd, Al Foster, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Peter Bernstein and has hosted musicians such as Chris Potter in his bands several times , Kenny Garrett and Mark Turner.
But above all the piano trio is the group with which he has had the greatest impact, among whose emanations we highlight the particularly long-lived and prolific ones with Omer Avital and Ali Jackson and with Ruben Rogers and Eric Harland.
His current group sees the participation of the promising young drummer Joe Santoro and Matt Penman, a New York colleague with whom he has shared his artistic path for some time.
