Prospettiva Danza Teatro Festival returns to Padua from 1 to 12 May.

The project of the Municipality of Padua – Department of Culture promoted and implemented in collaboration with the Arteven Regional Multidisciplinary Circuit / Veneto Region, the artistic direction of Laura Pulin and Eleonora de Logu and the support of the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo Foundation, arrives this year at the XXVI edition.

From the suggestion of the title COMETE, which evokes images of marvelous incandescence, of impromptu and luminous apparitions, a new artistic program develops. There are 11 days of events dedicated to dance that outline the 2024 edition of the festival.

Also this year, important national and international companies will perform in Padua in the spaces of the Agora of the Altinate – San Gaetano Cultural Center, of Barco Teatro, of the Eremitani Civic Museums and of the G. Verdi Municipal Theatre.

The program Opening of the festival on Wednesday 1 May at 9.15pm at the Agora of the Altinate-San Gaetano Cultural Center with a national premiere: the Ruben Molina Company from France will present NUIT FLAMENCO ACTE II, a dialogue between tradition and modernity that tells the living and evolving art of flamenco.

The International Dance Theater Perspective Award – promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Padua with the contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo Foundation, in collaboration with the Regional Multidisciplinary Circuit Arteven and the artistic direction of the creator Laura Pulin – arrives this This year is in its fifteenth edition and will take place on Sunday 12 May at 7.30 pm in the Sala del Ridotto of the Teatro Comunale G. Verdi.

The international jury will be made up of artistic directors, choreographers and sector operators including Michele Di Stefano, Didier Deschamps, Roberto Casarotto, Alessandro Bevilacqua.
