Along the green Brenta Canal, between the 16th and 18th centuries, the Venetian nobility had sumptuous residences, palaces and villas built as holiday homes, to be able to rest from the frenetic life of Venice.
Magnificent buildings, locks, mobile bridges and the green bends of the Naviglio characterize this waterway. Navigating among the Brenta villas you can relive the enchanted atmosphere of the past… Program: (pay attention to the time change)
09.15 am: meeting with the guide and boarding of the participants on the Artemartours Navigazione Turistica motorboat in Padua, at the pier near the sixteenth-century Staircase of the Portello (Via Lungoargine Piovego);
Departure at 9.30 am. (captain cell 348 5217323)
The boats which, traveling along navigable rivers and canals, connected Padua with the Venice lagoon headed from the Portello river landing place from which we set off.
