On the occasion of the third anniversary of the inscription of the site “The fresco cycles of the 14th century of Padua” on the UNESCO World Heritage list, on Wednesday 24 July Padua celebrates the anniversary with a concert-event open to citizens and those who wish to join the event .
Video projections and live musical performances will enliven the Church of the Eremitani from 8.45pm, one of the eight places that host the UNESCO frescoes: it preserves a precious fresco cycle by Guariento, saved from destruction in the Second World War, which lends itself to being an ideal setting for welcome in the large nave all those who wish to participate in the initiative.
Organized and promoted by the Lilium SoundArt APS Association in collaboration with the World Heritage Office of the Municipality of Padua and the support of the Steering Committee of “The fresco cycles of the 14th century of Padua”, the event will renew the virtuous contamination between music and art in building bridges and relationships between distant places, cultures and heritages.
Entry, starting from 8.45 pm, is free and available until all available places are filled.
