The Padua Trade Fair complex is located a short way from the city centre, and conveniently placed for access via rail and road links. Not only does it still host the oldest trade fair in Italy – known as La Campionaria – it is perhaps the one place in Padua whose on-going transformations most clearly reveals the city’s focus on the future.

With regard to trade fairs themselves, its calendar contains a total of 21 events, both directly or indirectly linked with retail. Among the occasions open to the public is Itinerando, the ‘Fair of Tourism as Experience’, and Casa su misura, which is dedicated to all aspects of modern living space.

The Campionaria itself is held in May, and can involve the whole city. And in October there is the Fair of Vintage Cars and Motorbikes; recognised as a key appointment for those interested in this sector, it can attract tens of thousands of visitors from Italy and abroad.

November opens with Tuttinfiera, which is then followed by ArtePadova; this Art Fair has been going now for more than fifty years, and having innovated in response to the crisis within the sector is still an unmissable occasion for both collectors and those with an interest in the arts.

An innovative facility for all sorts of occasions, the Trade Fair complex also hosts medical conferences, company conventions and gala evenings.
